Cider Houses

Visiting one of our cider houses is a gastronomic and fun plan at the same time.

Here you can enjoy the experience of pouring cider at the signal of the "txotx" and taste the typical cider house menu consisting of cod omelette, cod with peppers, steak and cheese, quince jelly and walnuts for dessert.

Most cider houses are located in the area of Astigarraga and Hernani, two bording municipalities of San Sebastian. In the Cider Museum, located in Astigarraga, and in some cider houses you can take guided tours to learn about the cider-making process and the history of cider.
